On November 4th, 2008,
our kids’ future will be in the hands of voters
The young men and women attending the Tempe Union High School District will be shaping our future in just a few years. The education they receive today will determine whether our community has the quality workforce we all need to stay competitive tomorrow in a knowledge-based economy. In November, voters will be asked to invest in the education of our youth.
If we fail to approve the two overrides and the bond, our teenagers will be facing crowded classes, poor-quality equipment, school buses that cost more to run and break down more often, and a loss of the district’s best and brightest teachers to better-paying jobs.
